 Sponsors of the 14th edition of leading festival announced

• DSF 2008 was visited by 3.2 m visitors with the expenditure touching AED 10 billion The Dubai Shopping Festival Office (DSFO) has announced the names of the key sponsors for the forthcoming DSF 2009, scheduled to be held from January 15th to February 15th, 2009. DSF Office also revealed the DSF 2008 figures projecting 3.2 million visitors with expenditure touching the AED 10 billion mark.

Dubai Shopping Festival Office New initiative to feature Dubai as the premier destination of the region during Eid celebrations
 Dubai is set to become the region’s premiere destination for Eid celebrations, this was announced by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group and Chairman of the Dubai Shopping Festival Office (DSFO) Supreme Committee at the launch of a new initiative that will further strengthen the city’s position as the leisure, tourism and cultural hub of the Middle East.
“Eid in Dubai is another pillar initiative that will further support our relentless efforts towards achieving the larger aim of positioning Dubai as a year-round premier tourist destination, thus adding another important step in our path to reach the 15 million mark of tourists in Dubai by the year 2015. It is also designed to augment the buoyant and unique atmosphere created in Dubai during celebrations marking Eid-Al-Fitr and Eid-Al-Adha”, HH Said |
